The Faculty of Law and Political Science at Université de Rennes 1 and at Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg welcomed their first students for the French-German study programme in Law back in September 2007.
Events organised by the students' association (APJFA) to celebrate the anniversary were not only the opportunity to look back on the past ten years but also to imagine the future.
The weekend began with a conference by Joachim Bitterlich, former European policy advisor to Helmut Kohl and ambassador to NATO.
On Saturday morning, « a speed dating » session took place in which former students talked to current students about the personal and professional benefits of the French-German study programme in Law.
Then followed the traditional award ceremony in the presence of Professor David Alis, president of the Université de Rennes 1 and Professor Frédéric Lambert, dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science.
The festive weekend ended with a buffet and a French-German show proposed by the theatre and music company "Diable en Personne", and performed by Katia Krüger and Elisa Bellanger.
