Université de Rennes 1 selected for funding for International Credit Mobility (ICM) of the Erasmus+ programme 2020-2023

The selection of Université de Rennes 1 will enable the development of new international cooperations, and enhance new actions with strategic partners of Université de Rennes 1.

International Credit Mobility enables Higher Education Institutions to strenghten or create links with international partners, deepening understanding of cultures, via different types of Mobilities :

  • Staff Mobility
  • Student Mobility (academic or internships)
  • Teaching Mobility

 
Université de Rennes 1 has got selected by the European Commission for the following projects :

Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU)

These new International Mobility of Credits reinforce the partnership launched in 2016 with ASOIU in the frame of French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), in which Université de Rennes 1 has been taking part with providing courses from the Bachelor's degree « Exploration et Exploitation pétrolières » (oil exploration and development), taught by professors of the Universitary Institute of Technology of Lannion.
These ICM reinforce the Teaching mobility, especially as a new MSc of Geoscience completes the training offer provided by Université de Rennes 1.

Ethiopian partner universities:

These new International Credits Mobilities are the opportunity to reinforce the actions implemented in Ethiopia in the frame of the Consortium "Consortium France-Horn of Africa towards implementation of joint trainings in Ethiopia and exploration towards Kenya", project selected in 2019 by the French ministry of Foreign affairs, carried out by Université de la Réunion in partnership with Université de Rennes 1 and Université Paris-Nanterre.
 


These new Erasmus + ICM come in addition to the existing ICM agreements of our university
