#OrangeTheWorld

Together, committed against sexual and gender based violence : join the online movement and show your support

#Orangetheworld

The days for the "Elimination of Violence against Women" are an international initiative taking place each year from November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against women) to December 10 (International Day of the Human Rights). Created in 1991, this campaign allows a collective action in order to prevent and end violence towards women and girls.

Since 2014,  the offical colour of this campaign is orange, symbolizing a better future and a fairer world, without violence toward women and girls.

After a successful online rallying in 2020, the University of Rennes 1 chose to renew a online participative campaign to support the movement, with the participation of the CMI Rennes, the EHESP, the ENS Rennes, the ENSCR, the INSA Rennes and the University of Rennes 2.

To show your support and help contribute to this initiative, as a student or a staff at the University of Rennes 1, we invite you to :

1. Take a picture, alone or in a group, with something orange (clothing, item, decoration).

2. You have until November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to send your picture by email.
