Internationalisation of higher education: Lessons drawn from experience and opportunities
Université de Rennes 1 will hold its third annual Erasmus Staff Week from 5th to 9th December 2016 on the theme of Internationalisation of higher education: Lessons drawn from experience and opportunities.
Only two hours from Paris and one hour from famous sites such as the Mont Saint-Michel and Saint-Malo, Université de Rennes 1 is one of France's twelve main universities. With international cooperation one of its priorities, the university welcomes over 3,600 international students each year and collaborates with 56 countries around the world.
The goal of the Erasmus Staff Week is to create a forum for discussion on the subject of international mobility. We would like to meet you so that you can share your experience and practices relating to international and student mobility with us.
On the programme
Three themed workshops will be accompanied by bilateral meetings with our international partners (on request) and several cultural visits.
The first workshop will focus on the question of international visibility (indicators, ranking and communication strategy) and two others which will be centred around student welcome procedures and communication with partners (selection, monitoring and exchange assessment).
The Erasmus staff week is free of charge and includes an arrival meal and a Breton teatime. Participants are expected to cover their travel, accommodation and living expenses.
Contact Ms.Touria El Grandi by e-mail with any questions about the staff week at firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to seeing you in Rennes!
